I have been wanting to learn Latin for a while. When I was in highschool I had two Latin textbooks: Cambridge Latin Course Books I and II, but I never fully committed to learning it. Now I am trying it again as a fun side project during the summer.
After doing some searching online, the general consensus is that Lingua Latina per se Illustrata by Hans Orberg is one of the best book series for learning Latin. It teaches by what’s called the direct method, and the books are entirely in Latin - no English at all. So I bought the first book in the series and I am beginning to read it.
